SWANAGE BLUES FESTIVAL OCTOBER 2009
Hello!
Here’s the draft Schedule for the Swanage Blues &
Roots Festival on 2, 3, 4 October 2009 – by time and below that, by
venue.
1.
Kent Duchaine tickets – there are still some
available, though numbers are limited. If any are left unsold, they will be £10
each on the door; in the meantime, you can make sure you have a ticket by
sending £7.50 for each one (cheque payable to ‘Swanage Blues’) to
Steve Darrington, Swanage Blues, T I C, Shore Road, Swanage BH19 1LB.
2.
Blues Steam Train Ride – being organised at the
moment and I’ll let you know.
Although these two events will cost to take part, there will
still be 42 gigs in 12 indoor venues and all Admission Free! If everybody can
be as generous as at the last festival and put in £2 for each gig, we can keep
going! Thanks to the Bucketeers for doing the collections, and if anybody wants
to give up a little of their time over the weekend to help out, please let me
know.
